Privacy Policy for Fruit Golf

Coal Car Studio Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Fruit Golf collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our game on the Meta Quest platform.

1. Information We Collect

a. Game Analytics
We collect anonymous usage data to improve gameplay and performance using GameAnalytics. This includes metrics like level progress, crash reports, session duration, and in-game actions. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify users.

b. Meta Platform Data

Fruit Golf uses Meta’s platform services to enable core social features, such as:

  • Friends list access (to display in-game friends)

  • Meta User ID and display name (to identify players)

While we do not store this data independently, some information (such as your Meta User ID and display name) may be securely passed to PlayFab to support optional features like cross-platform saves, account syncing, and progression tracking between VR and mobile versions of the game.

This data is used only to provide game-related functionality and is stored securely by PlayFab. We do not share this information with third-party advertisers or services.

    This data is used solely within the game and is not stored or transmitted to any external servers beyond Playfab and Meta’s platform.

    c. Cross-Platform Account Data
    We use PlayFab to support optional cross-platform progression between VR and mobile. When you choose to create a PlayFab account or link a platform account (e.g., Meta), the following information may be used:

    • A user identifier (e.g., Meta UserID or a platform-specific login token)

    • Gameplay progress and save data (e.g., unlocked content, settings)

    This data is stored securely on PlayFab servers and is only used to support gameplay features such as cloud saves and account syncing between devices.

    d. Device Permissions

    • Microphone: Used only during gameplay for voice chat and multiplayer interactions. No voice data is recorded or stored.

    • Camera: Used for Augmented Reality and gameplay purposes only on Mobile. No image or video data is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

    2. How We Use Information

    We use collected information exclusively for:

    • Improving gameplay experience

    • Fixing bugs and crashes

    • Enabling in-game social functionality

    We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

    3. Data Retention

    We do not store any personally identifiable information. Analytics data collected through GameAnalytics is retained as per their own data policies.

    4. Children's Privacy

    Fruit Golf is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

    5. Your Rights

    As a user on the Meta platform, your data is managed in accordance with Meta’s Data Policy. You may review or manage your data through your Meta account settings.
